Janet Evanovich, Stephanie Plum Novels!

I am usually a romance or suspense reader. But this past October 2023 I joined some friends at our local Books A Million store for a Janet Evanovich, Dirty Thirty, meet and great event. I have only heard of Mrs. Evanovich’s books through this friend but never read them. So I figured what the heck, let me see how this book signing event is set up, maybe just one day I will be in that same seat. 

So I got one of my books and put it in a gift bag. Brought it to her, I did ask Mrs. Evanovich if she was allowed to accept gifts before I gave it to her, and she gladly accepted. In the bag was a copy of Once a Widow, To a Stranger, signed, and a letter just telling her I was not looking for a shout out, or advertisement or anything, but simply if she could read it and give me feed back. That was back in October, and it is now almost February, and I haven’t heard anything, so with my luck, she didn’t take it, and it was most likely tossed.

But that didn’t stop me, from picking her book up. Starting with One for the money, I could not put it down. January 5th I read the whole book, and now I am on a hunt to get the rest of the 30 books! I have never laughed so hard at a book that had barely any romance! Every time I thought, “I have read it all” (you know like seen it all) I got side swept! Mouth drop, laughing, holding my breath. Now I am here at home patiently, as much as I can be, waiting for the USPS to bring me my BAM! package so I can start book nine.

Let me add this, I am a Jersey Girl and so is Mrs. Evanovich, and these books are based out of Trenton NJ!

Now I will not give much away, because frankly that is not how I do reviews. But I will tell you, you will thank me when you jump on the Stephanie Plum Novels like I did and I honestly want you to tell me… what team are you on?
